DJ Kold Fuzion | south carolina photographer

I was extremely pleased and honored when Duane Herbert aka DJ Kold Fuzion contacted me to create portraits for his Vyzion Radio profile.  Duane was recently provided with a platform to showcase his talents by Vyzion Radio an online radio station headquartered in Lincolnton, NC with locations in New York, Philadelphia and California.

Duane Herbert demonstrated an early interest in music and together with five friends formed JAM Promotions and held parties in his native Trinidad & Tobago.

Duane moved to Brooklyn, NY and soon after joined the US Military; while enlisted, he dj'd in the Republic of South Korea.  DJ'ing was a natural extension for Duane having been heavily influenced and surrounded by music in his family; his father DJ Buff, a well liked Brooklyn Chef and DJ; Duane’s brother, Reggae artiste Honor Rebel Jah Humbly, also hails from Brooklyn, NY.

Duane's professional moniker, Kold Fuzion succinctly implies: a fusion and versatility with all genres of music, blending a myriad of sounds on his playlists to create the ultimate party experience; he displays a tenacity for all things musical and utilizes his Caribbean heritage as a foundation and his musical passion as a catalyst, to bring good vibes to his sets.  Having attended one of his sets, I observed the manner in which he engages his audience and his ability to gauge and elicit a positive listener  response, in other words, he gets the crowd going and keeps them moving.

Currently located in Columbia, SC, this musical maven is positioned to become an entertainment behemoth with brand recognition.  Realizing that disc jockeying no longer entails just the one's and two's, but has morphed to include the latest technological advancements; Kold Fuzion maintains current dj'ing technology while continuing to hone and augment his skills as an entertainer; he is a consummate professional as is evidenced by the relationships he has built and maintains in and around the Columbia area.
