Short Film "I Made The News" by Ernesto Sue

Several months ago I challenged myself to make a short film.  I came up with several ideas for a story line, but everything I thought of required a large production team, which I didn't have the resources to gather.  So I scaled back the ideas and I thought about something that I can shoot, and edit myself.

The concept was simple, recently one of my images made it into the local news paper, so I thought I would create a story line around that image and the paper.  I didn't use a story board, I just knew what I wanted and what story I wanted to tell.

My only decision was to figure out what lens to use and the angles I wanted to shoot in.  Once I figured that out, everything else fell into place.

The actor, the camera guy and the editor were very nice, of course all the rolls were played by me so I am a little biased :-).

I shot this with my Canon 5D Mark II.  Lenses used 85 1.2 and 24-70 2.8. I don't have a mic so I used the on camera mic.
